Fall is on the horizon, and for many that means getting out the pumpkins and other fall decorations. Are you looking for some fun, easy do-it-yourself projects for decorating your home for the fall? Here are five ideas to help get you started.

Mason Jar Fall Luminary

This fall luminary will look great anywhere in your home, and the best part is that it is pretty easy to make. You’ll adhesive vinyl, a mason jar (or jars), acrylic craft paint, foam brush, twine, and a votive candle. You can find full instructions on the Create Craft Love blog.

DIY Pumpkin Topiary

According to the A Pumpkin and a Princess blog, this stacked fall pumpkin topiary is “easy to make and is perfect for a fall porch or mantel decoration.” To make this fun décor item you’ll need 3 craft pumpkins, fall garland, a metal bucket, a hot glue gun, and scissors. Want to give it a go? You can find all the details here.

Gold Mini Pumpkin Wreath

This chic wreath is one of the 65 (!) fall crafts Good Housekeeping compiled for “adults that capture the best part of the season.” We love this one because of how easy it is to do and how great it looks when you are done. To make the wreath, arrange mini pumpkins around a wire wreath frame, then secure them with glue. Coat the whole thing with gold spray paint to finish it off. You, of course, could use any color on this easy-to-make wreath. Want to check out the other 64 ideas from GH? You can find their blog/photo gallery here.

DIY Fall Barn Wood Sign

Nothing says fall more than a, well, sign that says fall. This easy-to-make sign is a great addition to any fall mantle, table, or wherever fits in your décor. You’ll need a natural woodpile bundle from a craft store, hot glue gun, nails and hammer, and floral balls. You can find full instructions on the My Sister’s Suitcase blog.

DIY Pumpkin Vase Centerpiece

Want an eye-catching centerpiece for your fall table (or mantle)? Try a pumpkin vase centerpiece! All you need is a pumpkin (real or fake); faux flowers, leaves, and branches; and tools for arranging and carving.
