We may still have a couple of months left in 2023, but paint companies are already looking ahead to 2024, announcing their colors of the year. What colors will be trendy next year? Below are some of the 2024 Colors of the Year.
SHERWIN-WILLIAMS

Sherwin-Williams describes its 2024 Color of the Year as “a breezy, blissful blue. The color found when we slow down, take a breath, and allow the mind to clear.” This calming color works well in any room in the home, and the subtle nature of it makes it work almost as a neutral that can pair well with many colors.

In describing its 2024 Color of the Year, Glidden said, “A fresh, warm hue, the 2024 color of the year is anything but yellow. Here are a few color pairings that work well with Limitless, but as Glidden notes, this soft honey beige hue can work with many different shades, from cool to warm tones and neutrals to colors, so you don’t have to limit yourself to just these shades.

“A versatile soft black that accentuates the spaces you create life moments in” … this is how Behr describes its 2024 Color of the Year, Cracked Pepper. This dark neutral color can be used on its own to make a statement (imagine walls and ceilings in this color) or paired with any number of colors to create a stylish space.

Here are a few colors that Behr notes pairs well with Cracked Pepper, but as with other blacks, this color can work with just about any out there – experiment to find the right combination for you.

Another blue hue as a Color of the Year, Benjamin Moore is going with Blue Nova, where “violet and blue come together in this elevated, sumptuous hue.” In choosing Blue Nova to lead its 2023 Color Trends forecast, Benjamin Moore noted, “depth and intrigue are balanced by an undercurrent of reassurance. This alluring mid-tone features an enchanting duality, capturing the spotlight with endlessly classic appeal.”
